Blood Magic: 15 (11+4)
Inspiration Magic: 6
Illusion Magic: 12
- Mantra of Persistence (Inspiration Magic)
For 30 seconds, any Illusion Magic Hex you cast lasts 52% longer.
Energy:15 Cast:0 Recharge:15
- Life Siphon (Blood Magic)
For 24 seconds, target suffers -3 Health degeneration, and you gain +3 Health regeneration.
Energy:10 Cast:2 Recharge:2
- Offering of Blood [Elite] (Blood Magic)
Sacrifice 20% maximum Health. You gain 20 Energy.
Energy:5 Cast:0.25 Recharge:15
- Conjure Nightmare (Illusion Magic)
For 12 seconds, target foe suffers -8 Health degenration.
Energy:25 Cast:1 Recharge:5
- Conjure Phantasm (Illusion Magic)
For 12 seconds, target foe experiences Health degeneration of 5.
Energy:10 Cast:1 Recharge:5
- Blood Renewal (Blood Magic)
Sacrifice 25% max Health. For 10 seconds, you gain +6 Health regeneration. When Blood Renewal ends, you gain 190 Health.
Energy:5 Cast:1 Recharge:10
- Illusion of Weakness (Illusion Magic)
You lose 202 Health. Illusion of Weakness ends if damage drops your Health below 25% of your maximum. When Illusion of Weakness ends, you gain 202 Health.

- Resurrection Signet ()
Resurrect target party member. That party member is returned to life with 100% Health and 25% Energy. You may use this Signet only once per mission.

Ive seen other posts on degen, and Ive been experimenting with this new build I created. It maxes out at 16 health degeneration, making sure that even a trap ranger will have degen on himself. I have posted the skills in the order that I use them, this build is not meant for spamming Conjure Nightmare but it works excellent at destroying targets. Also, with the Blood Attribute, I can manage my energy easier, while regaining health with degen, so I almost always have some way to heal.

necros aren't very loved in this way to begin with becuase it's not very GvG or Halls usefull and degen is the least loved of the necro builds...don't know what to tell ya.

Pure degen is not enough. Since a heal sig out heals a measly 30 hp a second.
You need to spread your Life Siphons round and use sac skills to do bigger damage.

Eh, I just thought it was a nice little combo of skills to run. A wither degen would prolly be more efficient though.

You should check out Xenoraner's Unholy Degen build.
Virulence (e) is a good health degen
Tained Flesh (e) is another
Life Transfer (e) + archane echo
Migraine (e) is good vs spellcasters
Crippling Anguish (e) is good for warriors
Recurring Insecurity (e) is good if you continue to cast hexes
Phatom Pain (cover hex)
Parasitic Bond (conver hex)
These are also good health degens that you may like to consider.

A better build would be:
Life Siphon
Images of Remorse
Paracitic Bond
(maybe) Faint (bit expensive though, just useful, however, attribs are a bit meh)
Rest are utility spells. That is a pure degen, since the task is to spread 7/8 degen on as many opposing enemy as possible (ie. 4 in RA all 7 in GvG). Degen is pressure, enough pressure and monks will start breaking.
Pure degen on one person is not enough to kill anybody. Like I said, Heal Sig or OoH will be enough to keep the -30 (actually -10) degen alive.

no. you could be a fine minion master as nec/mo. it's a great pve combo.
if you want into pvp you can do crazy stuff with aura of the lich/dark aura/contemplation of purity.
a minion master does a great deal of damage on a team. in pve, you'll rarely wait long for a group. you can take henchies most times and do ANYTHING you want.

Thats N/Me. If I was a NecroMonk Id go minion master as well in pve, but in pvp id go N/Me.

Migraine or Wither (both will mess with monks)
Life siphon
Accumulated pain
Vial Miasma
Phantom pain (just for when accumulated and vial are recharging)
Ethereal burden
leech sig (any interrupt really works here if you have migraine)
res sig or interrupt

greatest...skill....evar
well, not the greatest, but it rocks ^__^
and i think conjure phantasm is pretty weak
and same with virulence
altho tainted flesh is not bad
and if ur goin teh curses route, faintheartedness is a great skill simply for the fact that it lasts 37seconds
i'd rather have 37s of -3degen and slowdown attacks vs jus 12s of -5degen (conjure phantasm)
total dmg if lasted whole length = 222 vs 120
of course it does it faster, but usually if ur a degen build...ur gonna have at least 10+ degen combined already
and i wouldnt bother wit mantra of persistence unless ur a mesmer primary
and as well, i wouldnt use blood renewal either...
rely on life transfer, as well, i always try to have life siphon on at least 2 targets
(and if i use parabond, usually all 4 since its so easy and cheap to cast and stresses the monk on which player to remove hexes from)

Ive been using a simple degen domination build that works wonders against monks and casters.
Life transfer (e) -powerful degen and heal
Life siphon- nice little healing boost + degen
Conjure phant- incase they use healing breeze or troll or a regen spell
Empathy- very useful against assasins and warriors
Backfire- this is to put the monk in panic (always use conjure phant after this for a cover hex)
Blood renewal- Healing when life transfer is down
Empty- can put power spike or awaken the blood
Res signet- yup self explanitory
N/mes
2x 20/20 weapon + off hand blood style
attributes
16 blood
rest into domination
